Murla Venkata Ramana, President of Girijana Jagruti Samanvaya Samithi, urges authorities
Gudem Kotha Veedhi/Chintapalli, July 14 (Pen Power): Girijana Jagruti Samanvaya Samithi President Murla Venkata Ramana, along with parents, students, alumni and local residents, has appealed to the State Government and higher education authorities to cancel the transfer of Mrs. Vijayabharathi, Principal of Chintapalli Government Degree College, and allow her to continue her services at the institution.According to them, the college has witnessed remarkable progress in academic standards, discipline, student personality development and overall institutional growth since Mrs. Vijayabharathi assumed charge as Principal. They stated that the college, which had previously received limited recognition, has now earned a reputation for quality education and the successful organisation of innovative academic and co-curricular programmes. They also highlighted that the Principal had organised national-level seminars, bringing recognition to the college at the national level. As a result, students from neighbouring areas have also started showing interest in seeking admission to the institution. The representatives expressed concern that her transfer comes at a crucial time when new infrastructure works are under progress, and said that it could adversely affect the ongoing development activities. They felt that her continued leadership is essential for sustaining the momentum of the college’s growth.Appealing to the higher authorities in the Education Department to take a sympathetic view, they requested that the transfer order be reconsidered in the larger interest of the institution and its students. They expressed the opinion that retaining an efficient Principal would strengthen the college’s development and contribute to a brighter future for its students.
