YSRCP Behind “Ravan & Co.”, Alleges Vempuru Gangulayya

AP Folk Arts and Creativity Academy Chairman levels serious allegations

Paderu,Pen Power,July 10:Andhra Pradesh Folk Arts and Creativity Academy Chairman and Jana Sena Party Paderu Assembly–Araku Parliamentary Constituency In-charge Dr. Vempuru Gangulayya alleged that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is behind “Ravan & Co.” and is attempting to create communal tension in the state by provoking members of the Christian community.

Addressing a press conference at the Jana Sena Party office in Paderu on Friday, Dr. Gangulayya alleged that after those previously associated with Ravan were unable to achieve their objectives, YSRCP leaders had directly entered the scene. He claimed that the party’s public announcement offering legal assistance to Ravan, who was arrested in a UAPA case, supported his allegations.

He stated that the issue of reservations for Dalit Christians is currently before the Supreme Court, but alleged that certain groups were trying to exploit the matter to provoke Christians. He also accused some social media personalities and YouTube channels of insulting Hindu deities and Sanatana Dharma through objectionable content.

Referring to the Dalit Christian Sankharavam meeting held in Eluru, Dr. Gangulayya alleged that the speakers focused on criticising Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan rather than discussing the welfare of Dalits or Christians. He claimed that some groups were deliberately targeting Pawan Kalyan because of his views on national unity and the protection of Sanatana Dharma.

Dr. Gangulayya further demanded that advocate Jada Sravan Kumar explain his reported claim of spending ₹25 crore in his fight against former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and disclose the source of those funds. He questioned how such wealth was accumulated despite having what he described as limited legal practice.

He also called for clarification regarding allegations involving Jada Sravan Kumar in connection with the Sugali Preethi case and sought transparency over records relating to his legal practice. Additionally, he demanded an investigation into the alleged links and financial transactions involving Ravan, Jada Sravan Kumar, and actor Prakash Raj.

Dr. Gangulayya urged the police to conduct a comprehensive investigation into whether there was any organised attempt to incite communal tensions in Andhra Pradesh, stating that such an inquiry would reveal the facts.
